a happy easter
This Easter Sunday started off to be a glorious day! The kids slept in (what???) and woke up to dozens of hidden, candy-filled eggs! The easter bunny even left a little gift for each of the kids! We got to church on time (standing room only) and the kids did so well throughout the entire Mass! Afterwards, I treated myself to a white mocha from Caribou and we treated the kids to chocolate donuts! The sun was shining——could the day get any better?? The day couldn’t have been better until Will pulled a console table onto him and it landed on his head/eye! It almost ended up to be an ER run, but after evaluating his head/eye in between his crying spells, we decided to hold off! Now, 4 days later his eye is almost bruise-free and the cut seems to be healing. I got a few pictures of it so we will not forget about the interesting day we had this past Easter! Unfortunately, I didn’t get the Easter picture of the kids I was hoping for. Maybe next year, right? Instead I got some cute individual pictures of the kids. Charlie isn’t in his Easter outfit (of course)! He couldn’t wait to get out of it! Again, there is always next year!
