18 months and counting

I am very late with Will’s 18 month post!  Better late than never these days.  He has been a little stinker with allowing me to take pictures of him lately.  So, I snapped a couple quick ones and these will just have to do!  Once again, Will remains our “little peanut”.  He weighed in at a whoppin 21 lbs and 1oz (1% for weight)!  I will have to find his exact length, but I do remember he dropped down in the 3rd percentile for that!  Height just isn’t our strongest gene!  Nonetheless, he is growing up so quickly and remains our little joy!  I notice how Claire & Charlie are so protective of him.  I love that.  Sometimes I just sit back and watch the way they help him and love him.  As usual, I will add a few highlights for what is going on with Will at 18 months!

1.  He now officially has “melt downs”!  If Will gets frustrated he will hang his head and go over to the couch and mope!  I usually have to keep in the laughter because I think it is kind of cute (for now)!

2.  He still loves all dogs!  He calls them “gog goggs” and still goes “woof woof” when he sees a dog.  He loves to look at books with pictures of dogs.  No, we are not going to get a dog.

3.  He now knows how to do the sounds and motions of shooting  (which I am totally not proud of ) and knows how to fall to the floor when his brother “gets” him with the light saber (again, totally not proud of this)!

4.  He is a bottomless pit!  He takes after his brother this way!  I guess I will eventually have to learn to love to cook!  Yikes!  Will really enjoys milk, waffles, any kind of fresh or dried fruit, chocolate (takes after me), cheese, fig newtons, peas and yogurt!

5.  Will loves to go on bike rides and would love to be outside every minute of the day!

6.  He is still obsessed with me.  Falls asleep at night sometimes holding my neck and saying “mommy, mommy”!  LOOOOOOVE IT!!!

7.  Will loves to look between his toes for any hidden treasures and then wants people to “mell” his feet!  hmmmm????

8.  Still signs “milk” & ”change diaper”.  Most of Will’s words consist of:  mommy, daddy, gog (dog), ba-bye, baby, eye, mell (smell) and no.

9.  Still obsessed with climbing anything and everything (typical 18 month old).

10.  Looks forward to seeing “Orangey” (our frequent bird visitor) every morning on our apple tree.

11.  When he sees a truck or motorcycle he does the “vroom vroom”!

12.  He now has 13 teeth and still has the reddish tint to his hair.  Will he be our strawberry-blonde???
