fun friday
Joel surprised me by coming home early on friday as an early birthday gift. We ended up spending the afternoon playing outside with the kids doing absolutely nothing but acting silly and having fun. What a treat it was! Even though I had to work all weekend and get up early, Joel still did the traditional setting of the alarm clock for 12 midnight so he can be the first person to wish me a “happy birthday”! (He has been doing this now for over 10 years.) He even brought a second alarm clock so he wouldn’t have to run the risk of forgetting to set the alarm again for morning. As usual, all 3 kids were up early………so I was able to read the birthday card they had made me before I left for work! I loved it! Here are a few pictures of our fun friday together!
